Inspection and Assessment:
Thoroughly inspect properties (both interior and exterior) to identify the type, source, and extent of pest infestations.
Determine the condition of buildings or grounds to assess pest access points and potential damage.
Measure infested areas to calculate fumigant requirements and estimate service costs.
Treatment and Prevention:
Develop and implement treatment plans to eliminate pests and prevent future infestations, considering both chemical and natural methods.
Apply appropriate pest control methods, such as spraying, dusting, or baiting, using safe and effective products.
Set traps for rodents or other pests.
Seal cracks and holes to prevent pest entry.
Safety and Communication:
Provide clients with safety warnings and instructions regarding treatment procedures and necessary precautions.
Ensure the work area is secured by posting warning signs and locking doors during fumigation.
Clean the work site after completing the job and remove all treatment chemicals and equipment.
Provide estimates for one-time treatments and ongoing maintenance.
Other Duties:
Recommend additional products and services for effective pest control.
Safely and efficiently remove nests (e.g., wasp, hornet, bee nests).
May be required to drive company vehicles to and from work sites.
Study preliminary reports or diagrams of infested areas to determine the appropriate treatment type.
Evaluate reports or designs to determine work needs.
